Rugby requires minimal equipment. To start, each player must have:
- A fitted mouth guard
- Molded rugby or soccer cleats preferred, football cleats are also acceptable
- Shorts with a tie string
- Shirt that can get dirty and/or ripped
- Appropriate Apparel for the weather
As you advance in rugby, you may also find benefits in rugby shoulderpads, rugby scrumcaps, and other protective equipment.
