Why Sponsor BARC?

Your financial support will not only benefit our growing men’s and women’s teams, but also positively impact our local communities and small businesses. BARC players and fans have eyes, ears, family, and friends all over the Galveston Bay area, backing businesses who want to help build our sport. Through your sponsorship, we are happy to offer return value in the form of access to our rugby community, social media, merchandise, events, website, and more! We currently reach an audience of over 6,000 followers across all social media platforms.

Since the club’s inception in 1974, we have partnered with many local and national charities, where we donate proceeds from our rugby tournament and holiday fundraisers. Historically, the Operation Red Wings Foundation (formerly Lone Survivor Foundation) has been our largest non-rugby benefactor. In addition, BARC players are committed to helping with area cleanups, community events, and youth sporting leagues.

Your generous sponsorship will help support the following costs for our Men’s and Women’s programs:

Practice and game fields
USA Rugby and Texas Rugby Union club dues
Rugby Equipment, including playing jerseys
Referees & Athletic Trainers on game day
Recruitment & Social events

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization, offering tax-deductible donation and sponsorship opportunities. If you prefer to sponsor specific club expenses, and/ or through offering discounts/ services at your business, we can tailor options to specifically support your interests.

Standard Sponsor Packages

This image describes the different benefits a sponsor will receive depending on their level of funding the team. For example, weekly social media promotions are available for a $5,000 sponsor, monthly promotions for a $1,000 sponsor, or a single promotion for sponsors less than $1,000.
