2025 tour: Mexico City
BARC will be touring to Mexico City this coming fall!
The tour will be Labor Day weekend August 28 or 29 - September 1.
More to follow as planning gets more refined.
Loose itinerary is:
arrive Thursday night for those able or Friday for the rest.
Friday will be exploring the area and finding the local watering holes at night.
Saturday is match day & after match party.
There will be a "fancy dress" (costume theme) night.
Sunday will be Kangaroo court.
Fly back Monday.
Expected costs:
Players will get flights on their own (~$250-300 round trip)
Group lodging will be selected by tour coordinator, and players will have to pay ($50 / night or less)
Tour jerseys and polos will be designed and made available for purchase prior to tour (~$60 for both)
Spending money. money for personal souvenirs & nights out

What is a rugby tour?
A rugby tour is a long-standing rugby tradition and a quintessential element of rugby culture, where ruggers travel to a foreign country to test their mettle, both on the pitch and in the pub! Tours are about sharing in the camaraderie of rugby across cultures and forging bonds that last a life time. There will be a rugby game (or games), but the atmosphere is much more social than competitive. That said, we're not going all the way to Mexico to lose!
There will be a plethora of drinking games, and shenanigans are all but guaranteed!
Don't be shy if your playing years are behind you either! If you are an old boy jones-ing for a good piss-up, this is the event for you!
